Welcome

Thank you for your interest in the 2010 Shermanator Triathlon & 5K Run!

Last year we not only reached capacity for the Triathlon, but including the 5K, we once again had more total participants than ever before! We hope everyone enjoyed the venue at the Sherman Lake YMCA. We sincerely appreciate your participation in this event designed to promote living a healthier life and to help local families. Your participation in the Shermanator helps provide scholarships to local kids and families to attend Sherman Lake YMCA summer camp and become YMCA members. It is through your efforts that we are helping to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.

Jackie Morse

Race Director

Our Mission - The Sherman Lake YMCA Outdoor Center strengthens the spirit, mind, and body while instilling an appreciation of our natural environment.

-The Shermanator is proud to be included in the 2010 USAT Mideast Region Club Series, MERCRS. The Shermanator welcomes triathletes from around the region to our event.

MyTeamTriumph - Wisconsin Chapter - is participating in the Shermanator this year.  More information here.

The Shermanator Triathlon is a fund raising event for the Community Scholarship Program of the Sherman Lake YMCA Center in Augusta, Michigan. The race venue is the YMCA Camp and surrounding area. You will find it to be one of the most beautiful race venues in the region. The Shermanator celebrates it’s 8th anniversary with the 2010 event. In 2008, the decision was made to put the triathlon focus entirely on a Sprint distance event to provide athletes and spectators with what we hope you will agree is a World Class event.
